GIS Lab Map

This is a combination of two layers: a world map and a record of northern hemisphere volcano occurances in an ungiven range of time. I added a feature to the world map attribute table to include the volcano occurance count per country and then displayed the results with graduated colors. The icons show where each individual volcano occured. I was unable to include a neat line or scale because of a technical difficulty with the layout view function and having to resort to Paint software.

This is Ometepe, one of two volcanic islands in Lake Nicaragua (freshwater lake with what was thought to be a unique species of shark, but proven to be bull sharks that migrate from the lake to the Caribbean Sea via the San Juan River rapids).   There are many pictures posted to GoogleEarth of the area.
